Health and social care users invited to new Local Healthwatch meeting on Wednesday

A new service which will be the voice of health and social care users is inviting organisations to an information event.
Local Healthwatch will ensure patients access information and services that match their needs.
Councillor Dale Birch, responsible for adult social services, said: “It’s great that new legislation allows us to set up a new support organisation for local people.”
He added that the event will clarify any issues care providers may have.
