Driver taken to hospital after collision in Charvil

A man was cut free from his car and taken to hospital after a collision in Charvil.
Police, paramedics, an emergency doctor and firefighters from Wokingham Road and Caversham Road were called to Old Bath Road at around 4am on Saturday morning after a red Skoda came off the road and rolled down an embankment.
Firefighters spent just under an hour at the scene freeing the driver before he was taken to hospital by ambulance.
