By Hugh Fort
November 08, 2012

Bracknell's MP has raised the concerns of local people about the levels of Air Passenger Duty in a debate Parliament.

Dr Phillip Lee spoke in the Air Passenger Duty Debate in the House of Commons on Thursday, November 1.

More than 200,000 people have raised their concerns about the tax, which is the highest in the world.

Afterward, Dr Lee said: "“It seems perverse that, at a time when our trade is becoming more non-EU, we are discouraging or making it more difficult to trade with those parts of the world that continue to grow.”
