A heroin user has been jailed for 20 weeks after stealing a laptop and a bank card to buy drugs.
Rhys Maher, 25, from Wordsworth in Great Hollands, admitted burglary and theft at Slough Magistrates Court on Monday.
The charges relate to an incident on Saturday, September 16, where he broke into a house in Wayland Close, Harmans Water and stole an X Box.
Then on Thursday, October 25, a woman was walking along the footpath near Great Hollands Primary School, also in Wordsworth.
Maher grabbed her bag, which contained a laptop, and cycled off.
He admitted to police that he then sold the laptop straight away and used the money to buy heroin.
The third charge relates to an incident on Monday, October 29, where he stole a bank card from a house in Wordsworth.
He used it to withdraw £30 which he then used to buy heroin.
Detective Constable Neil Slocombe, investigating officer, said: “Maher stole from three victims and used the proceeds of his crimes to buy heroin.
"The victims were understandably very upset by these incidents and we are pleased for them that Maher has been imprisoned for the crimes against them.”
