Two elderly women rescued from Sandhurst lift

Firefighters rescued two elderly women who were trapped in a lift this morning (Monday).
A crew from Bracknell fire station lowered the lift, which was stuck between two floors of Broadway House, Yorktown Road, Sandhurst at around 10.30am.
Crew manager Scott Pay said the women, who were residents of the sheltered housing, remained calm while the firefighters rescued them.
