Court date for two men remanded over Ascot attempted murder

Two men have been remanded in custody and will appear in court next year in connection with an incident in Ascot where a man was severely injured after being hit by a car.

Ricky Clarke-Dilly, 22, from Grampian Way in Slough, has been charged with attempted murder, section 18 GBH with intent and driving while over the alcohol limit.

Ryan Quartermaine, 20, from Mead Avenue in Slough, has been charged with perverting the course of justice.

The two men appeared at Slough Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday and have both been remanded in custody to appear at Reading Crown Court on Monday, January 14.

Two other men, aged 20 and 24, have been bailed until Monday, December 10.

A 24-year-old man from London remains in a critical condition in hospital after the incident in London Road at around 3.20am on Sunday.
