A family advice service has received an award for the fast, fair and free advice it gives.
Bracknell Forest Family Information Service (FIS) won the Families First Award for its information for parents and carers of children and young people up to the age of 20.
The award is given by the National Association of Family Information Services (NAFIS).
Janette Karklins, director of Children, Young People and Learning at Bracknell Forest Council, said: “Well done to the FIS team on this award.
“The Families First Award demonstrates the team has worked hard to ensure families in the borough receive accurate and accessible information and in a timely manner.”
Cllr Gareth Barnard, executive member for children, young people and learning, said: “The FIS is a vital resource for parents, families and professionals.”
