Winkfield singer through to next round of X Factor
By Jon NurseOctober 08, 2012
Winkfield singer Josh Cuthbert and boyband Union J survived heavy criticism from X Factor judges to be voted through to the next round of the show.
The band sang Queen classic Don't Stop Me Now in Saturday's live show.
Judge Gary Barlow slated the performance as a "catastrophic song choice" while hip hop star Tulisa complained that the vocals were missing.

The group's mentor Louie Walsh took responsibility for the unpopular performance and promised the band would come back stronger next week.
Josh and the boys faced a nervous wait on last night's results show before it was revealed the public had voted them through to the next round.
The 20-year-old former Charters School pupil, who also reached the ITV1 show’s boot camp in 2007, will next perform on the ITV show on Saturday at 8pm.

I only wish the vocals had been missing. I was captivated by just how out of tune three of the four were though.
