The meeting will be followed by a trip to the pub: followed by MP welcomes booze crackdown.

Love it!

No need to apologise - although it is accepted with thanks. I should have been clearer which in hindsight I wasn't.

And I will indeed enjoy dinner when home :)

You enjoy your pint with Winstanley.

Sorry Wobbly Bob, I should have made myself clearer. By the time I get away from work and mostly due to the woeful public transport system from central London to Bracknell I am lucky to get in the house by 8pm. When I do get in I would welcome some dinner and as it is a weekday and I have the 2 hour commute the following morning I really would not fancy going out.

I am not whinging, merely suggesting that a Friday would perhaps be better for people who do commute.

A 7:30 start doesn't seem that early to me- it would still be running at 9pm+- I think it must suit 95%+ of the constituents if you exclude night shift workers- out of interest, which City you are talking about? Birmingham is 100 miles away and under 2 hours on the train to Bracknell, and the Kerith Centre is just around the corner? If you mean London, say London, but this "I work in the City" attitude is out of date and stinks, you think it makes you better than people, it doesn't. Your holding the "local" MP responsible for you not being able to get home at 7:30 is frankly a sad reflection on you, and when you look at what you've actually said in your two comments, its the best part of nothing but whinging. If you don't like it move to Finchampstead, they have a great MP apparently. Cheers, I'm off to the pub to get a decent conversation with Winstanley :-)

And I am with Winstanley on all counts. Why we are saddled with an MP who has absolutley no regard for his constituents, except for his BCA sycophants is beyond me.

I sincerely hope that the people of Bracknell show their feelings next time round and vote this muppet out of existence.

Yet again the elusive Doctor makes an appearance on a Thursday evening which as has been said before suits the older retired and locally working constituents but makes it impossible for thos who work in the City and father away.

So come on Lee – make an appearance one weekend or even a bit later on a Friday evening which may just well suit the people who think you are a complete waste of space and are looking forward to seeing you get either deselected or lose your seat at the next election.

Mind you Mitt Romney's doing a great job of making Phillip Lee look like the very picture of a serious and savvy politician.

I'm loving the bit about a trip to the pub (no thanks, Phil, bit like going dogging with your Dad!) followed by a link immediately below for 'MP welcomes booze crackdown'.
