Henry Kelly comes to Ascot to open revamped Thames Hospicecare shop

By Jessica Hemson
September 17, 2012

Radio presenter Henry Kelly launched the Thames Hospicecare’s revamped store in North Ascot last Friday.

The former TV star was joined by Mayor of Bracknell Forest Councillor Jennie McCracken as eager crowds of shoppers gathered outside to be the first to browse the shop.

The store in the Fernbank parade, in Warren Row, has received a full makeover. Henry said: “I hope everyone will join me in supporting Thames Hospicecare. By shopping at North Ascot we can all help to ensure that local families coping with terminal illness continue to have access to the specialist nursing care that the hospice provides.”

The store also has free parking outside making it accessible for shopping and dropping off donated goods. To volunteer call into the store or call 01753 848924.
