Be inspired to step forwards as a volunteer

By Becky Barnes
September 12, 2012

A charity is calling on anyone inspired by the Olympic volunteers to make a difference themselves.

Bracknell Forest Voluntary Action (BFVA) will be recruiting at several venues over the next few months.

Tracey Morgan from BFVA said: “The Olympics has been a fantastic platform to see many volunteers contributing to make a difference. There are many more here in Bracknell Forest who really are providing vital work, without pay or incentive, and making a difference to peoples’ lives, but more are needed.”

Meet the BFVA team at Crowthorne Library in High Street on Monday, between 10am and 1pm.

The ‘roadshow’ continues until November. For a full list of dates visit www.do-it.org.uk, call Tracey on (01344) 304 404 or email tracey.morgan@bfva.org.
