Bagshot Road closed all night after Land Rover bursts fuel tank
By Hugh FortSeptember 04, 2012
A road in Bracknell was closed all night after a collision between a bus and a Land Rover which burst the Land Rover's fuel tank.
Teams from Ringway, Bracknell Forest Council's roads contractor, were called to Bagshot Road, close to the Twin Bridges Roundabout at around 5.50pm.
The road was closed and teams from the company spent four hours mopping up the Land Rover's spilt fuel from the road.
However, police insisted the road remained closed and the teams returned again at around 6.20am to continue the clean-up operation.
The road finally re-opened at around 9am this morning.
