Appeal lodged over apart-hotel plan at Beneficial House

August 28, 2012

A developer is appealing against the borough council’s decision to refuse planning permission to convert empty office space into a hotel.

The proposals to convert empty Beneficial House in Easthampstead Road into a 36-suite apart-hotel on the first, second and third floors and two shop units on the ground floor were re-submitted in March and refused at the end of June.

Applicant T A Fisher submitted its appeal to the Government’s Planning Inspectorate on Thursday, August 2.
