Warfield author's book outsells 50 Shades of Grey in Bracknell Waterstones

Fifty Shades of Grey was knocked off the top of a bestsellers chart by an author from Warfield.

Stuart Young’s How to Change Your Life One Day at a Time sold twice as many copies as the raunchy novel at Waterstones, in Charles Square, when he did a book signing at the store.

Stuart, 46, took his inspiration from local people and put together 365 ideas for positive change by trying out his techniques on people from the area.

He said: “The day was great – over the years I’ve studied countless books on self improvement, enrolled in the programmes, listened to the audios and been to the seminars, but it’s true that some are better than others. The aim of my book is to help people get straight to the good bits, the things that really work.

“Nobody has enough time these days, so the book offers just one idea or technique per day.”

His book outsold the best-selling erotic novel at the Bracknell bookshop on the day on the signing.
