Man arrested after cannabis factory found in Ascot

A man has been arrested following the discovery of a cannabis factory in Ascot.
The 26-year-old was arrested in Whitelands Drive, Ascot, on Wednesday evening on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis and going equipped.
Just after 6pm on Tuesday, police raided a property in the road under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act.
They found around 30 plants, suspected to be cannabis, in one room and a further 30 plants in a large black tent in the garage.
The man has been released on bail until Thursday, September 13.
