August 17, 2012

Filmakers with learning disabilities in Crowthorne are turning to YouTube to tell policy makers what services they need and expect.

The Up2Me project run by The Ark Trust has won funding for a series of films made by and featuring people who need support.

The films will be available on DVD, via YouTube and will be shown to community groups and Bracknell Forest Council. The project has been funded with £19,700 from Bracknell Learning Disabilities Development Fund and with £6,800 in staff and service support from the Ark Trust and two supported jobs will be created.
