Chance to security mark your property with CESAR

July 20, 2012

Farmers, equestrians and landowners can have their have their equipment and property marked at an open day on Sunday.

The event, organised by Thames Valley Police and Datatag, is an opportunity for people to learn about newly launched products, aimed at helping horse owners in securing their tack, tack rooms and transport.

Datatag’s security and registration scheme, known as Construction Equipment Security and Registration (CESAR), is designed to reduce equipment theft and help police and insurance companies recover stolen equipment.

The property marking day will be at Wheatlands Farm in White Horse Lane, Finchampstead.

The day will run from 8am to 6pm with Datatag-approved technicians on hand to install the CESAR and DATATAG security systems or equipment.

For more information contact rural specialist officer Susie Carr at Lodden Valley Police station on 101.
