Motorcyclist hospitalised following A332 Swinley Road crash

A motorcyclist was hospitalised following a crash on the A332 Swinley Road, Winkfield this morning.
The road was closed for more than an hour after a blue Ford Transit van and a Yamaha motorbike collided at around 7.30am.
The crash happened near Berkshire Golf Club, which meant the Buttersteep Rise Junction was gridlocked and traffic was backed up along Swinley Road.
An ambulance spokesman said a double manned ambulance attended the scene and the male motorcyclist was taken to Frimley Park Hospital with possible pelvic injuries.
The road reopened at 8.45.
