Firefighters put out two large bin fires in Bracknell last night.

A crew from Bracknell fire station was sent to Windlesham Road and Rectory Lane at 2am and 4am to deal with two skip bins that had been set alight.

Firefighter Lee Hancock said: "We arrived in Windlesham Road to find three large skip bins pushed against the side of a garage. The first bin was well alight and a second had caught on fire. The fire was spreading and was close to the wooden face of the garage."

The crew used their hose reel to extinguish the flames and were at the scene for around 45 minutes.

Less than two hours later the crew were called to a skip bin fire behind the Co-op in Rectory Lane.
