Flower club celebrates 50 years

Beautiful blooms created a spectacular display as a popular flower club celebrated its 50th anniversary.
Bracknell Forest mayor Councillor Jennie McCracken was the special guest at the Sandhurst and Crowthorne Flower Club show, which was held at Wellington College on Wednesday, June 6.
Around 250 people came along to the celebration, which feature a range of displays from the group’s members.
Linda Coyle, chairman of the group, said: “We had people come from all sorts of places to come to see it. We’re very pleased.”
Flower arranger Tom Hodge also travelled down from Southport to give a demonstration to the visitors.
