Ravenswood celebrate patron's jubilee

A huge banquet and a jubilee hat competition were among the festivities at Ravenswood Village in Crowthorne.
Residents, staff and volunteers were joined by the mayor of Wokingham, Councillor Bob Wyatt, on June 4.
Elaine Kerr, chief executive at care provider Norwood, said: “Celebrating the Diamond Jubilee of our patron, Her Majesty the Queen, is a time when friends and family get together to eat, drink and have fun.
“We all had a wonderful time, getting into the spirit of this special occasion with a fantastic array of hats, outfits and painted faces.”
The celebrations included a street party, games and challenges.
