A jubilee show and tell kicked off a day of celebrations for children at a nursery.
Bramley Wood Day Nursery, Crowthorne Road North, put on a patriotic celebration for 95 youngsters on Wednesday, June 6.
Nursery manager Jen Bourne said: “It was a good carry on from the weekend – the children shared their stories and showed off crowns they had made.”
The day included painting flags and a special tea with all the children dressed in royal attire.
Jen added: “It was very patriotic and we even had a letter back from the Queen thanking us for the cards we had sent.
“We saved this for the party and we are getting quite a collection as we got a thank you from Wills and Kate when we sent them cards for their wedding last year.”
The children will keep the decorations they have made up for the next learning topic for the summer – the Olympics.
