By Hugh FortJune 15, 2012
Health bosses have revealed plans to rebuild parts of Heatherwood Hospital.
In its latest report on the soon-to-be launched Shaping for the Future consultation, NHS Berkshire proposes replacing the old buildings on the site with new, modern ones, funded by selling off some of the land at the hospital.
It also reveals plans to move the current minor injuries unit to a location in Bracknell and to permanently close the Ascot Birth Centre on the Heatherwood site.
The document also reveals plans to expand mental health.
The plans will be on display in Princess Square in Bracknell town centre today between 10am and 2pm.

Let's hope this gets moving and we get more health services being provided locally for Bracknell people.
