Two friends who have Down’s Syndrome are gearing up for yet another charity bike ride.

Jackie Andresier, 48, and Stephen Treisman, 47, both residents of Ravenswood Village, Crowthorne, met Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon at the launch of the LA Fitness Capital to Coast Cycle Challenge

The pair have taken part in more than 15 races between them with the support of a member of care staff and will cycle from the London Eye to Brighton on Sunday, July 1.

Jackie has cycled in Thailand, Israel and Rajasthan, and both are preparing to ride in Sri Lanka later this year.

The bike ride will raise money for Norwood and the Down’s Syndrome Association to help people with learning disabilities live full and rewarding lives.

The route encourages people with learning disabilities who are supported by the charities, to ride tandems with support staff and offers cyclists four routes from 30 to 75 miles. Visit www.capitaltocoast.org.uk
