Fujitisu wants planning permission extended

By Hugh Fort
April 19, 2012

An IT giant is asking for more time over plans to redevelop its office site.

Fujitsu, which has a large office in Lovelace Road, has applied to Bracknell Forest Council for permission to extend the time limit on its planning permission.

The company was given permission to redevelop the site in 2006 by the council.

The permission means it can add five new three-storey office buildings and three car parks to the site, as well as access from the road.

However, the planning permission is due to run out and the company is asking for more time to carry out the work.

Hopefully they will rebuild something less environmental impact? I'm afraid their tower, if not appropriately looked after could turn in another Winchester House sooner or later...
