Expansion plans raise concerns of overlooking neighboursBy Laura Herbert

Plans to expand a house in Sandhurst will go before the council’s planning committee following concerns it would overlook neighbouring homes.
An application has been put forward for a two-storey front and side extension, a single-storey rear extension with balcony and wall, and gates to the front of the boundary at the property in Dunraven House, Thibet Road.
One letter of objection claims Dunraven House owners have cleared a number of trees, shrubs and tall bushes and the rear extension with a balcony will offer no privacy to their first-floor rooms.
The letter also states the removal of bushes and trees means security lighting shines directly into their bedrooms at night.
Planning officers have recommended the committee approve the plans when it meets on Thursday, April 19.
