Fire crews called to Swinley Forest

Fire crews were called to put out piles of leaves that were alight this morning in yet another incident at Swinley Forest.
Bracknell Fire Station firefighters were called to woodland near Magdalene Road, Owlsmoor at around 8am.
A fire spokesman said the fires were small and were put out easily this time.
On Friday, April 6, arsonists set a hectare of land alight close to Caesar’s Camp, nearly a year after huge fires spread through Swinley Forest.
Bracknell Forest Council is in the process of clearing woodland to avoid a repeat of last year.
