Cyclist injured in hit and run

Police are investigating a hit and run collision between a cyclist and a car in Finchampstead.

The incident happened on Sunday on the A321 Sandhurst Road at around 3.40pm when a 46-year-old cyclist was in a collision was a small silver car, which did not stop.

The cyclist, who is from the Yateley area of Hampshire, was taken to Frimley Park Hospital after suffering a small cut to his head.

PC Gareth Miles, of the joint roads policing unit based at Three Mile Cross, said: “I would like to trace the driver of the silver car, which we believe is a Toyota, which was seen driving along Sandhurst Road immediately before the collision.”

   Happens to a lot of cyclists, some drivers just don't give them the space on the road. Hope they recover quickly.
