A new chairman of the NHS Berkshire Primary Care Trust (PCT) cluster has been announced.

Sally Kemp has taken over the role from Penny Henrion, who was chairman of the PCT cluster since it was formed in June 2011.

Sally said: “I am looking forward to leading the Berkshire PCTs at this crucial and challenging time for the NHS locally and nationally.”

NHS Berkshire chief executive Charles Waddicor added: “The board is extremely grateful to Penny for all her efforts while at the helm.

“We know that Sally will provide the clear leadership we need as we complete the transition to the new world of Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs).”
