New Beaver colony sets up home at Jennett's Park

Youngsters living on a huge new housing estate in Bracknell can learn useful skills, play games and make new friends at a new Beaver colony which could open next month.
An event was held on Tuesday, January 17, at the Jennett’s Park Community Centre in Tawny Owl Square, where 15 boys and girls from the estate went along to find out more about the group.
Parents spoke with leaders about getting what was needed to become a leader.
It is hoped the new colony will now hold its first session in February.
Pam Pearce from South Berkshire Scouts said Maria Soulsby, headteacher of Jennett’s Park Primary School, also supported the plan.
