Young people in Bracknell can find out more about job opportunities and training at a careers event today.

The Bracknell Forest Partnership event aims to give students, their parents and carers as much information as possible about education, training and future job prospects.

More than 50 employers, training and education providers will be on hand at The Capitol Building, in the town’s southern industrial area.

During the day, Year 11 pupils from the borough’s secondary schools will have the chance to ask questions, pick up ideas and make contact with potential employers.

The evening session will then be open to pupils from all secondary school year groups, their parents and carers, and residents who may have left education but need help finding work or training.

Bracknell & Wokingham College will also host demonstrations.

The open evening session will run from 5pm to 8pm. Visit www.bfcareers.co.uk.
