No pain, no gain for charity fundraisers

Eight men went through the pain barrier for charity as Jaks Hair & Beauty staged a leg waxing on behalf CLIC Sargent.
The salon has been helping the charity, which cares for children with cancer, for 18 months and when a local PCSO suggested the waxing, owner Kerry Vincent took him up on the idea.
The salon’s neighbours in Greenwood Road, Crowthorne, helped out and The Indian Gate restaurant supplied nibbles while two workers at Tesco on the other side took part in the waxing, which has so far raised £1,500.
