Eye-widening drop for opticians team

August 31, 2010

Optician staff swapped sight tests for height tests as they plunged 11,000 feet to raise cash for sufferers of multiple sclerosis.

The three staff from Specsavers in Princess Square in Bracknell, Stephanie Cole, Charlotte Cronin and Harvinder Bhinder, raised £1,400 from the charity sky dive.

The money will be donated to the Berkshire Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre.

Store manager Stephanie said: “We know just how devastating MS can be to both the sufferer and their family.

“We want to do all we can to help those who suffer from MS as well as raise as much awareness as possible for this often overlooked condition.”
