Away-day tagger lands up in court

August 31, 2010

A graffiti tagger from Bracknell has been handed an £80 fine after being caught vandalising a Reading car park.

The 23-year old was arrested with an 18-year-old from central Reading after the pair were caught in a car park in Weldale Street.

Both men admitted causing criminal damage and were given on-the-spot fines of £80.

PC Katy Fisher, Reading’s anti-social behaviour officer, said: “In this case the offenders have been fined, but other people engaged in this sort of activity should be warned that their action could see them being charged and facing criminal prosecutions.”
