Man charged after flats fire

A man has been charged with recklessly endangering life after a fire in a Great Hollands block of flats.
Thomas Axton, 32, from Aysgarth in Great Hollands, was charged on Tuesday after the blaze on Monday evening.
The fire happened shortly before 8pm at the flats in Holbeck. One flat was extensively damaged and neighbours were evacuated but no one was injured.
Firefighter Steve Borham said: “We were told there may have been someone inside there wasn’t.”
Mr Axton appeared before Slough magistrates on Wednesday.
