21-year-old charged with theft and assault

A 21-year-old has been charged with a number of offences, including one of attacking a woman.

Sam Buckland, of no fixed abode, is charged with two counts of burglary, two counts of theft from motor vehicles, one count of perverting the course of justice and one of assault.

The assault charge relates to an incident on Sunday, October 11, near the BP garage in Wokingham Road, Bracknell, where a woman was allegedly punched and kicked.

One of the burglary and theft of motor vehicle charges relates to an incident in Lyons Oaks in Warfield on Sunday, September 27, where entry was gained to a house and a vehicle was allegedly stolen.

The other charges of burglary and theft from a motor vehicle relate to an incident in Hatch Ride, Crowthorne, on Friday, October 9, where a motor vehicle was allegedly stolen.

He was charged on Friday and will appear at Slough Magistrates Court on Thursday, February 4.
