Man cut free from pick-up this afternoon

By Hugh Fort
December 08, 2009

A driver was cut out of his truck after it flipped on its side in Bracknell today.

The man crashed his pickup truck while travelling down Easthampstead Road at around 3.15pm.

Fire crews from Bracknell and Wokingham, as well as a rescue support vehicle from Slough, had to use cutting equipment to take off the roof of the car.

The road was closed for about an hour before the crews managed to free the man, who was taken to hospital as a precaution, although it is thought he was not badly hurt.
