Commuters delayed by train fault

By Mike Pyle
December 02, 2009

Commuters faced delays this morning because of a fault with a train in Bracknell.

South West Trains’ 6.20am service from London Waterloo to Reading reported a fault as it arrived in Bracknell resulting in it arriving 30 minutes late into Reading.

That train was due to take passengers back to Waterloo from Reading but that service had to be cancelled because of the fault.

This was the only train affected by the fault and other services continued as normal.

A spokesman for South West Trains said: “We apologise to passengers for any inconvenience.”

This was ridiculous this morning! First time I've tried to use the train in ages. I won't be doing it again!

I think it would be more beneficial if you were to report when trains were running ON TIME.
