Boy charged with assault after woman 'punched in face'

A boy has been charged with assault after a woman claimed she was punched in the face on her way out of a supermarket last month.
The 14-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged in connection with an incident on Wednesday, September 23, when a woman, who was leaving Aldi in Birch Hill, claims she was punched in the face and verbally abused.
The boy was arrested shortly after the alleged attack and bailed.
He was charged with assault on Saturday, November 14, and will appear at Maidenhead Youth Court on Thursday, November 26.
