Chance for carers to grill the politician

November 06, 2009

Carers in Bracknell can grill politicians on what they would do if they came to power.

The Bracknell Local Involvement Networks (LINKs) are sending chairman Barbara Briggs to the Carers Summit on Thursday and want people to submit their own questions for the politicians.

The politicians are Labour’s Yvette Cooper, Secretary of State for Department of Work and Pensions, Conservative Maria Miller, Shadow Minister for Family and Liberal Democrat Paul Burstow, Chief Whip for the Liberal Democrats and honorary secretary of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Carers.

The panel will be chaired by GMTV journalist John Stapleton.

Anyone wanting to ask a question can send it by email to billie.reynolds@makesachange.org.uk.
