A man stole a girl’s mobile phone and iPod after pretending he needed directions.

At around 4.30pm on Wednesday, the man approached the 16-year-old as she walked along Shake-speare Way in Warfield.

He stopped and asked for directions, before grabbing her and forcing her to walk down the road towards Tesco in County Lane.

He then stole her pink Sony Ericsson phone and iPod before walking off.

He is described as white, in his 20s, and around 6ft tall.

He was wearing a dark hooded top and dark jeans.
