Tee Pee Nursery youngsters raise cash for charity

October 19, 2009

Baby Billy the Kids put on their finest Stetsons and cowboy boots to have a yee-haw-some day raising money for children suffering from genetic disorders.

Children and staff at the Tee Pee Day Nursery in Pembroke in Hanworth held the cowboy-themed day on Friday to raise cash as part of the national Jeans for Genes.

Staff are still counting the money, but think they have raised around £100 for the charity.

Manager Leanne Daniels said: “The children and staff all dressed up as cowboys and cowgirls and we all had a really good day.”
