Woman rescued from car following M4 crash

By Lewis Rudd
May 16, 2009

Firefighters from Bracknell helped free a driver from her car after it was involved in a crach.

A blue Nissan Almera and green Vauxhall Cavalier collided on the eastbound carriageway, between junctions eight and nine for Maidenhead and 10 for Wokingham, just before 1pm on Friday.

The incident resulted in the closure of one lane of the motorway, causing tailbacks.

Firefighters from Bracknell and the Rescue Support Unit from Slough helped free the woman from her vehicle.

She was then taken to Wexham Park Hospital as a precaution after sustaining minor injuries.
