Beer award for the Victoria Arms
May 14, 2009
The Victoria Arms in Binfield has raised the bar for its competitors by winning pub of the year title.
The pub in Terrace North Road was given the crown by the Berkshire South East branch of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA).
The venue, owned by brewery Fullers and run by landlord Jim Teasdale, won the title for the quality and quantity of its beers.
A CAMRA spokesman said: “We are very pleased to give this well-deserved award to the Victoria Arms as we believe it represents the best of the great British pub.”
The Victoria Arms offers a range of beers brewed by Fullers, guest ales and bottled beers.
