A fire that left a car so badly damaged it was barely recognisable could have been arson.
Firefighters from Bracknell were called to a car fire in Garsons Lane, Maidens Green, in the early hours of the morning.
Crew manager Steve Over said: “The car was completely burnt out when we got there.
“I suspect it was arson, it was probably stolen.
“I haven’t got a clue what sort of car it was. It was a burnt out shell when we got there. I could see it was a four-door saloon, that’s about all.”
Firefighters spent an hour dealing with the blaze.
