Man seriously injured in crash

A Bracknell man has suffered serious head injuries in a car crash in Wokingham at the weekend.
The 31-year-old man was the front passenger in a blue Volkswagen Polo on Saturday driving along Old Wokingham Road when it crashed into trees and fencing near the junction with Easthampstead Road.
The 41-year-old driver of the Volkswagen and another passenger were also taken to Frimley Park Hospital.
Police say the driver suffered minor injuries but the front passenger is in a serious but stable condition in hospital.
PC John Denzel, of Taplow roads policing, said: “I am keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have any information relating to it.”
No other cars were involved in the accident, which happened at 2.05am.
