Showjumper Funnell to launch bigger tack shop

An international showjumper is heading to Binfield to help relaunch a family-run tack shop that is bucking the credit crunch.
William Funnell, who has represented the country 27 times, will officially open the expanded premises of the Millwheel Tack Shop, Terrace Road South, today
The new premises are four times larger and will allow the shop to stock horse feed and bedding. The opening will also mark the shop’s 25th year in business.
Owner Sara Gracey said: “Our customers who extend as far as Maidenhead, Windsor, Ascot, Bracknell, Wokingham and Reading will continue to enjoy the products the store has always offered.
“We will also be adding the Funnell range of rugs, clothing and accessories and new lines in our existing stocks of John Whittaker, Hac Tac, Horseware and more.”
Tere will be a free raffle, special offers, gifts and refreshments from 9am until 9pm and an opportunity to see Funnell from 5pm until 7pm.
