X Factor made us look like 'idiots'

A group auditioning for the X Factor have hit out saying the show was edited to make them look like "idiots".

Trio From Us 2 You – Scott Ancell from Crowthorne, Leigh Hobson from Bracknell and another friend from Reading – were “the worst group I have heard in five years”, according to one of the show's judges Simon Cowell.

But Scott said this week: “They cut it to make us look like idiots," adding they only auditioned "for a laugh" but were asked to pretend they were serious.

If someone goes to the audition "for a laugh" then they did not expect to get through in the first place. At least the deluded ones who ACTUALLY beleive thmeselves good deserve sympathy. These guys just wanted to get their faces on TV because they obviously knew they were bad and would most likely feature.

In this case, yes, they do deserve to look like idiots as that to me was there intention in the first place.

Guys (and gals) like these make the X Factor. I stop watching when the ones who can sing are the only ones left. They wouldn't have a show without the talentless the deluded and the mentalists

LOL - I remember when these plums were on. They were really bad!! It was hilarious, but trust me, it was not the show that made them look like idiots. They did a great job on their own doing that.

Now that's funny. Come on, the guy on the left looks as if he's asking a girl out fot the first time - he never makes eye contact and hangs his head, they guy on the right looks ashamed at himself and looks as if he's about to give up and leave all tht time, and the overall sound really isn't great. It's not the worst effort on the show so Mr High Trousers is a bit unfair, but it doesn't get close to having the x-factor. As for being made to look like idiots - if you go on a show to audition for a career in music "for a laugh", and you can't actually sing, you've got to expect that laugh to be at your expense. Idiots no. Talentless at singing, yes. Better than me, certainly, but you don't see me going on TV to prove it.
