Walker stabbed during attack

A man was stabbed in the leg during an attack in Sandhurst.

The 26-year-old was walking on a footpath near Evenlode Way at around noon when he was at-tacked as he approached the underpass near Snaprails Park.

His attacker punched him in the face, causing him to fall to the ground, and stabbed him in the leg.

The man, who did not see his attacker, suffered minor cuts and was treated at Firmley Park Hospital.

The attack took place on Tuesday last week.
