A teenager appeared in court after he was arrested following an incident at a Bracknell newsagents at the weekend.

Dean Kevin Pottle, 19, was charged one count of attempted robbery following the incident at Martin's in The Square in Harmans Water on Saturday afternoon.

Pottle, of Pemberton Road in Slough, appeared at Slough Magistrates' Court on Monday and was remanded in custody to appear at Reading Crown Court on Monday, August 4.
